Crystallines can drop anywhere, but these odds are on par with you winning your state lottery. Realistically, they drop only from HoH chests under the current patch. I've heard of them also dropping in UW, but not that often.

Fisherman's chest-runs were how most crystallines were farmed pre-patch. Now that opening chests require expensive keys, this tactic is no longer economically feasible.

my friend have one in purple... never seen one in gold though.. and it really doesn't look all that um... tempting... looks like one of those long sword.. with a light blue blade that looks almost like you're holding a somewhat kitchen knife...
